Yacon is commonly grown in the Northern and Central Andes. It
is called ‘Peruvian ground apple’, and called ‘Jicama’ in Ecuador. The
roots are composed of fluent water and fructooligossaccharides. As the name
says this plant is sweet and juicy. (fructo- oligos- saccharides)
